Thumbs down More Explora SBR finger trouble

Not a good period for you guys, I can't seem to get done

The repeat of Graham Norton S21 starts early in the morning, I've had a SBR set for a while to catch the first few episodes (lunchtime repeats in my case).
Tonight the entries had vanished from my Schedules.
Examination of the EPG shows that all these entries are no longer marked for series recording!

I'm not getting further involved, MR's will be fine for me. But thanks to those fixing others' mistakes, yet again.

Perfect timing Mad Cat. I've just examined all of 120 in the EPG - there are no series recording circle-arrows on any entires, and what you say means it's wider still.
UPDATE: All appears back to normal except 120. Not going to edit this further.

I think related to the upgrade of 120 to HD, has already been done.

Hello

We sincerely apologise for the technical trouble, there were some problems with the launch. The series recording for BBC Brit HD should be active in the next 10 minutes or so.

Don't know if this is related. Have series recording set for Stitchers. Ep 3 was supposed to record on weekend but failed with reason as "unable to record". The next repeat on Monday also failed with same reason. Can't provide photo evidence as by the next day, the item listed under Failed Recordings just diasappears. I have set MR for final repeat today.

Hello

I can't see why this would happen. We updated the EPG on 6 October (Friday) so your decoder should have picked up the Saturday airing or in the worst case the Monday airing. I would guess it was a recording conflict, but then it should have come up in your conflicts screen (which I'm guessing you do check).

I check everything Nope, not a conflict, and it said when it appeared under Failed Recordings, "Unable to record", not cancelled due to conflict. Really hope the MR worked this morning.

Unable to record normally means your decoder lost signal at the time the recording had to start.

Or had a authentication glitch that disabled PVR facilities .... This last one is far more common than MC wants to admit.

A bit conincidental that this happened with both the repeat recordings of the same show. And does this not result in blank space on the recording (not a total loss of the recording), with the decorder marking it with a circle and setting a new recording for a repeat?
