@Others - until MC have got to the bottom of this... google's gmail seems to work for most, but not everyone

Else try using an address from @africa-11.com which worked for me
Register at http://africa-11.mail.everyone.net/e...trationInfo.pl
Unfortunately it's a real pain with its registration requirements...
You could then get the likes of gmail to collect emails from it for you. But forwarding to non-cooperative emails doesn't work, it also doesn't get received.


EDIT: This could also well be interfering with forum registration.

Right, with the help of Jan Horn, we have sorted out what is happening with email notifications sent to Gmail addresses.

Thanks, never though about that

Ok, think the Mweb problem is sorted. Had a problem since Sunday where certain emails from certain addresses never got to my Inbox (or Junk) . Still worked last week. Got hold of Mweb Help on Twitter. So he did the following :
Logged into my main account (online), clicked on Email and added the addresses to the "always allow' of the Junk Email portion.

So I added webmaster@multichoice.co.za to this and all forums notifications (PMs and thread subscriptions as well as the confirmation email when you change your email address) are working again

Hope this helps Why it stopped working... only Mweb will know

Ok, had to change my email again back to my work email. webmaster is still in my always-allow, but stopped working for whatever reason
