Default Press release: TV on-the-go for all DStv Premium customers

MultiChoice is extending access to its on-the-go DStv Now service to all its DStv Premium customers. This means all Premium customers can now enjoy more than 60 live DStv channels and access to the world’s hottest TV shows and movies on Catch Up. Previously, the full DStv Now service was only available to DStv Premium customers with an active PVR.

The Catch Up library on the DStv Now app turns a customer’s smartphone or tablet into a decoder in your pocket, as series and movies can be downloaded to watch later. Now it’s easy to enjoy DStv originals like The Voice SA and Ons Sprokiesbruilhof.

This library also includes the M-Net Movie Collection which offers a 1000 movies that are updated weekly. There’s also a DStv Kids section on the app, specifically designed to keep the little ones entertained when you’re away from home, with a handy parental control feature to ensure the kids watch what’s right for them.

Premium customers can now stream sport live from the SuperSport channels; perfect for keeping up with live action like the Super Rugby and the Proteas versus New Zealand. DStv Now can also be used to access Express from the US shows on M-Net and M-Net – shows like Suits, Quantico, Homeland, Madam Secretary and Vikings which are available within hours of their US broadcast.

Other things you can do with the DStv Now app: use the TV Guide to search for your favourite show, set remote recordings to your internet connected Explora, view your DStv statements and balance, or clear errors on your decoder.

DStv Now is an app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets and is also available online at DStv.com. To use the app, you would need to register once off for a Connect ID on DStv.com.

Thanks. Where can I check if a show will indeed be streaming on the DStv Now app's live channels feature as I wanted to watch a show last night live and then it said that DStv Now doesn't have the rights?

Nevermind. The desktop video player is terrible to use.
