Angry Wi-Fi connector - No Internet

My wifi connector worked perfectly before. I then upgraded the wifi infrastructure in my house.
Changed from a D-Link router working as an extender, to a new Ruckus R500 Access Point running off a Zyxel router fed by a 100mb fibre line.

The Ruckus AP does not have a WPS button, so did manual setup.

Both lights are on solid white, yet there is no Internet connection.

On DHCP setting, but can see it's not getting an IP address. All zero's.

How do I fix this?

If link provided doesn't work. And a manual setup still doesn't work.

Try connecting via ethernet if possible. If it connects then the problem is your routers range Is not as strong as your previous one.

I had this problem.

I will try this tonight. Long ethernet Cable from the AP to the Explora.
I've already done the manual setup multiple times.

Hi 2wheels, I have the same problem every morning and I think it's caused by the overnight maintenance reboot. My only solution is to reboot the router.

So if you do the manual setup , while sitting next to the access point, with the wifi connector wired to your laptop, you still can't connect ? You've done the dstvwifi.local and selected the access point ? Also check advance setting here btw
You've tried resetting the wifi connector ?

Good morning 2wheels

Is it working now? Or are you still having trouble?

So I didn't have a long enough Ethernet cable to reach from the AP to the Explora. Will get one today, and test tonight. That should tell me if its the AP or the Wifi Extender that's the problem.

Forget about the long cable..just connect a laptop (wifi off) to the extender and browse the net. You didn't reply to my previous post , so I'm not sure how you did the manual setup..
