Thank you. Can you please confirm how long it takes for this asset to show again after disappearing?

I don't understand your question. But I wanted to watch this movie this evening and it's disappeared again. The Forest as well it seems. Seriously this is getting ridiculous. I didn't spend R1500 on a decoder that gives all these problems only to see MC release a new model when you haven't even sorted out the issues with the first Explora. We also can't watch DSTV Now on our Android tablet as it's not supported and on our smartphones we get constant buffering which makes viewing impossible. But we can watch all other streaming services in full HD with no problems at all. We are paying close to R1000 a month for this? I'm sorry but you guys don't come close to Netflix or Showmax for trouble free ease of use. I will try to source an alternative for viewing sports and then I will be cancelling my subscription. These issues have been going on for months but nothing is resolved. Your technical team should all be fired. To constantly ask customers for screenshots or information is becoming tedious. Sort it out. You now have competition and quite frankly they are cheaper and better than you are. DSTV will be irrelevant soon if you continue like this.

Hi Ermeric1

We understand your frustrations . The tech team has been informed and are busy looking into resolving the issue. In regards to your Android device, 4.1 and up (software version) is required. That will be Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 4.0.4.

That's not accurate at all Pamela. I have a Vodacom Powet Tablet running Android Lollipop but it doesn't work because the device itself is not supported. As are many other devices too even though they are running the necessary Android Version. But this was not clearly stated on the DSTV Now FAQ's. In fact the same information you just gave me is the same that is provided on the App. So I purchased the Vodacom Power Tablet thinking it would work. It doesn't and this has been confirmed by MC Marietjie on the DSTV Now Section. Hence my frustration at the misleading and false information given by MC.

This information is STILL on the DSTV Now App even though I pointed this out to you guys before. Not all Android devices are supported but nowhere does it mention this. Anyway at this moment it doesn't really matter because my wife and I can't watch anything on DSTV Now anyway due to endless buffering on devices that ARE supported. We have an 8mbps Internet Connection and we have no problem streaming all other services in HD. We only have an issue with DSTV Now as have many other customers. Been going on for months now and nothing's done about it. So my frustration level with MC is through the roof.

We understand your frustrations . This info will be sent to the relevant teams to look into and advise accordingly. The buffering you're referring to, is it on while streaming live channels or trying to access CU?
