Default DSTV Now not working.

Since yesterday I'm unable to stream any content from DSTV Now on my Galaxy Note 5 either via wifi or using mobile data. It just buffers continuously. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I have the same issue after the last update to version 1.28.2 on my mobile device (LG G3). Live TV or catchup is not streaming and app crashes after a while. I rolled back to version 1.22.1 and everything works fine.

This is beyond a joke. The DSTV Now website is broken right now. I cant login, none of the images load, supersport is missing from the channel list. Looks like the Supersport website and the supersport app is also broken, most of the page doesnt load. Same issue with my data connection and my 25mbps fibre line. So clearly its not the internet. Can the Mods at least admit Multichoice have a bandwidth issue?

Streaming on DSTV Now is a horrible experience with constant buffering even though my internet connection and speed are fine. I stream Showmax and Netflix in HD without any problems. Any suggestions?

Try one of the supersport channels during a live game. I have struggled almost all the time when using my browser. Either the stream buffers or it stops completely after a couple of minutes. The App seems to work a bit better though. Perhaps they need to allocate more bandwidth for their web interface. I'm running a 25mbps line now, so I highly doubt I need a faster line. Ive given up on streaming DSTV Now. I mainly use it when I travel, so I have started to look for alternative options. The support on these forums also seem to be quite bad as most of the questions on this forums go unanswered. Ive given up now.

Streaming AUS game now via supersport.com on max settings. Also solid for about 10 minutes.

I DO however know that sometimes DSTV's routes are messed up; depending on where you're coming from (your ISP and how they peer with ... mweb I think)

Geoff has experienced this in the past.

I see. I am based in Sandton and running fibre through MetroFibre. Have a look at the mybroadband forums, the dstv section has countless users complaining about streaming issues. Something needs to be fixed.

I'm also battling with slow streaming on strong LTE signal. The App won't let me download to watch later.
