Definitely not available on your SD PVR as that would've required further software development, and as the decoder is in end of support, we're not doing any software development.

Should be on your HD PVR - perhaps you need a software upgrade? Although perhaps a really good time to replace one of your decoders with that 'spare' Explora?

No matter which PVR you use, still won't give you BO downloads to your PC (only streaming), as per your original request

No sw upgrade indicated for the UEC 4T ----- but will check again.

That is why I was planning to use on line BO -----

Explora? Probably going to install it down in CT at my mom's place. Taking down a spare 1.2 m antenna ....

Give up view 3 and record 3 for an Explora? no chance

As the UEC 4 tuner has also been at end of support for some time, it will be in the same boat as the SD PVR... so a no win situation
EDIT: Unless you're prepared to use your PACE 4 tuner instead?

BTW, only being half serious... I certainly don't have the money to consider that right now and no doubt many others as well.

Beyond these PVR and personal considerations, some method of PC / device downloading is still very much needed.

Okay so after much messing around with the UC 4T decoder, which is on sw level 74/2 (27/03/2015), I managed to get it to allow me to access BO.

CU is not available, which is what I expected.

BUT ....

The questions remain as originally posted.

(1) Is it possible to download on line for later viewing BO content?

(2) Is there a working App for DSTVNOW for users running the WIN 10 Operating system on their devices?

Glad you now have access to BoxOffice on your HD PVR. Given that you've not upgraded your software in almost 2 years, am surprised you go it to work.

Answer to your questions:
1. No you cannot download BoxOffice movies online - you can stream them online.
We do have movies available on our Catch Up service on DStv Now, which does allow you to download. These movies also include the M-Net Movie Collection, which is a 1000 movies.

2. The DStv Now App works with iOS and Android on tablets and smartphones, but does not support Windows 10. The number of Windows 10 users in the market does not justify the development and ongoing support required.

There is no upgrade for the 4T decoder --- according to MCs call centre. There is no red button on the upgrade screen to indicate that an upgrade is required ...

So if an upgrade is available, please let me know how I should go about getting it.

No response?

Seems that MC just does not want to solve or react to issues with being able to use BO.

MC Nic wherever you are, please come back!
