Default Billing problems becoming unfair

I am writing this on behalf of my Snr mother who is constantly charged R199 for a R114 service.

When one phones the call Centre they come up with a bouquet of excuses and promise to have a refund processed and a correction.

Yet again, R199 is deducted each month. They have even denied speaking to us on one occasion (26 Oct 2016)

R85 extra is unfair and I need this resolved

Hi, you'll need to send a PM to MC Solomon with her customer info and your or her contact details by clicking here

Being nearly weekend he'll maybe only be able to get through this by next week.

Maybe there is something we can help with in the meantime.

(1) Please provided us with the decoder model number used by your mother.
(2) Have you tried to register on line with mydstv and see what services your mother is registered for and if that reflects the correct decoder installed?

Yep, little doubt we're both thinking that the R85 extra is either XtraView and / or PVR access related, perhaps something from a past setup as the call centre wouldn't offer a refund for such existing services.

@Geoff D the new setup IMHO is ****. DStv now app only shows statements. Not like previously where you could see decoders etc. On Android anyhow

I don't understand what you're saying to me, but anyway this is probably best left to Solomon to make sense of with you.

Are you interested in getting some help here or not?

If yes then we would appreciate some courtesy from you.

(1) Answer the question we asked you about which decoder your mother has.
(2) Note that it is NOT the DSTV now Apps that will give you access to your services. For that you will need to check which App on your smart phone is required or use normal Internet access to the DSTV webpages.
(3) Both myself and Optimist have indicated that a PM message to MC Solomon providing the details of your mother's account number and SC number will get you some action.

IF you don't want to follow that advice then stop posting on the forum please.

Maybe MC can be a little bit proactive and have someone in customer service monitor this specific forum a little bit more closely. I'm sure both Nastasha and Solomon are fully (and over) commited and may not have the time to check in here on a regular basis. Yes , the regulars will assist where possible and advise on PMs in other case, but this is in general the 'unhappy with something' forum and needs a little more direct attention from MC
