What I have noticed is that the email domain @multichoice.co.za is not blocked with other prefixes, so the solution may be to change the prefix in use.
But I don't know how hard or easy that may be, when there's time I'll try remember to check the Bulletin Board help forum and pass the info on to Lindi.

Periodically when some of the email SP's jack up their spam filters the forum's notifications get flagged as junk mail because I think of the multiple links it contain. I have the same problem with my Vodamail account and had to switch to g mail. Even on g mail I had to first log into my account open the junk mail folder open the mail notification and then click on the "this is not junk" option before it allowed it through. With all the junk and spam flying around email SP's constantly tighten their spam measures and unfortunately legitimate mail gets flagged.

Exactly Jan, although there's more to it. Users tend to report things as spam too easily, and this is known to be a particular problem with GMail. Even mailer daemons sometimes end up marked as spam
This is what then ends up on worldwide blocklists which the SP's share, and the companies that control it are a real pain to deal with.

@Luke - not the same as our personal blacklists (those who have access to that) which is individually adjusted, and so a whitelist like the one M-WEB provide doesn't usually allow for bypassing what's in a blocklist.

I hear you, but it was working fine after adding it to my allow list, and still does on my work mail. Anyway.. will be using the work one going forward

Yep, not all SP's use the same lists and blocking priorities will change or resurface. I'm sure MC have been through trying to sort this out a few times.

Another idea - they could try determine who hasn't been here for ages but is subscribed to daily / weekly forum section summaries, I think those Forumites could be behind any "spam" reporting once they got bored of it.
