Yes, I know. But therein lies the problem, as the show gets moved down on the list as new things get added. And then all of a sudden it doesn't appear on Catch Up when it's supposed to and you're all angry because DSTV messed up again, because your show isn't there, when in fact it's on break and just lying at the bottom of the pile with a message saying it's on break.

So maybe instead of having a separate tab just for these notices, still move the show to the top of the list so that I know there's something new in the stack.

Suggestion:
Ability to sort Movies on Movie Release Date.
I personally loathe scrolling through 800 or more releases seeking out newer movies.
Should be super easy to implement. The required data is already available.
... Pretty please?
Thx.

Couple of issues.

When I look up "Other showings" on the TV guide. It doesn't show CU(+) content available.

When scrolling down a number of titles, it takes a long time to get back to the top. Pressing the CU button on the remote should take one immediately to the top. It does nothing at the moment.

The default sorting is not changeable. I really prefer the A-Z as default. Not newest.

This would be quite nice (if Other Airings also showed whether a title is on CU/CU+ although in many cases (if a program has not aired yet) it will also not be on CU/CU+ yet.

I think pressing RETURN/BACK will take you to the top again.

It does indeed. Thanks. Although, pressing the button I suggested seems a bit more intuitive.

Default Playlist

Ok, this one is a big one.

Why do downloaded titles not appear in the playlist?

It really is quite difficult to get to the downloaded content any other way.

Agreed, except if willing to go to the Download Manager by pressing Alt when in the CU section.
(Pressing Alt again takes one back to CU).

They really should appear in the playlist section. Far more intuitive.

Even more so if you have downloaded previous episodes and have current episodes recorded. They should appear in the same place.

Inconsistent behaviour. Doesn't take you to the current show when looking at the TV Guide. Neither does the TV guide Button.

Default More UI Improvements

Have a look at the image below. The UI could be vastly improved as follows.

When selecting CatchUp, the focus point moves to the top line (Series/Movies/Kids/etc.).

Press the down arrow and the focus should skip the (Newest First/Last Chance/etc.)

Once the focus has moved to the content, the left and right arrow keys should be active to change between the (Newest First/Last Chance/etc).

The CatchUp button on the remote should move the focus to the top line again. Or scrolling to the top.

As an aside, I see flawed functionality in the P+/P-. The scroll is opposite to the Up/Down from the positioning of the key.
