Below are some notes which addresses some of the most frequently raised issues. Please feel free to post any issues you're experiencing to the Forum.

Getting in touch with us
There are a number of different ways to get in touch with us other than through the call centre.
We want to offer our customers a great experience whenever they deal with us. We know the experience is far from ideal at present and are working on making it better.
We have a number of alternative touchpoints that our customers can use:
1. On the internet: DStv.com/SelfService – account details, reset error codes, payments
2. On your phone: Via USSD *120*MULTI# or download the DStv app on your smartphone, iPhone or iPad
3. On your decoder: Press OK on your DStv remote to access Easy Info
4. On social media: facebook/DStv; Twitter @DStvCares
5. On email: enquiries@multichoice.co.za – responses within 24 hours

The easiest way to manage your account is to register for Self Service at DStv.com: http://selfservice.dstv.com

Why MultiChoice doesn’t offer pensioner discounts
We understand that pensioners would like to get a discount but at present, there’s no special pensioner discount available. The DStv decoder is a portable item and therefore discounts can be easily abused. We are still looking for a viable solution.
Why you can’t choose your own channels or create your own DStv package
We understand that you feel you’d save more money if you could choose only the channels you want to watch. Unfortunately this isn’t the case. It’s actually more cost effective to structuring channels into packages. Choosing your own package with your own channel selection would mean you’d end up paying more than you are now (and for just a few channels). That’s why we offer a range of packages with different fees and channel combinations – to cater for the viewing choice and pocket of a wide range of customers
