Default DStv Now not recording, exiting app

I have the DStv app on an iPhone, as well as on two iPads. All the functions work well on the iPhone, recording, streaming etc.
Everything is also fully functional on the iPads, except the recording function. As soon as I press recording on any of the two iPads, the app immediately exits out back to the main app screen.
I thought installing the last upgrade ( ver 7.7.2 ) will fix the problem, but to no avail. This problem has never been present, but started about 2 months ago.

Am currently on 7.8.0 IOS 10.3.2 , recording fine

I assume you've also tried uninstalling it, and then reinstall ? Weird problem Maybe also check whether the DStv Now app settings are the same between the devices. Can't see anything there that should cause a problem , but who knows....

Hallo Luke7777, did everything I could think of, delete, reinstall, did every update, no joy. And on the iPhone no problem, picks up the 2 Exploras on which to record in double quick time.
MC Grace, is this known to the IT department?

I'm having the same issue now on my Android Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The App keeps closing when I try to set a recording.

This started after the latest upgrade of the App, so again an issue on MC software

I have the same issue. It keeps saying the app isn't responding then closes

Tried on android and Apple
