Isn't famous in love a non English program?? Or only partially English. That can be reason for it having subtitles

Nope full blown American English programme set mostly in Los Angeles. Infact its one of very very cheesey American shows.

As far as I understand only hard-coded subtitles are possible on CU+ - i.e. the subtitles are permanently there and can't be turned on or off - they are part of the video picture.

The subtitles that can be switched on and off are only available on normal CU.

But things might have changed...?

The good news is that some or all of those unexpired arrived back yesterday and are still there this morning a few pages in, but not on CU, they're only back on CU+.

Well all has now been revealed and Braveheart came out as being the number one choice by those who selected the movies. A very good movie but not one I'd rate as being the ultimate number one of all time. But certainly deserving of being on the Bucket List.

I can only imagine that a number of other top movies which should have been on this list weren't available due to copyright issues. What other excuse could there be for not including Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, The Third Man, The Sound of Music and numerous others. Certainly those movies chosen by the panel covered a wide range and must have satisfied just about everyone but I doubt that some should have been on the Bucket List before others.

If, as I've been told by someone from MC, the panel sat down and looked at numerous lists of top movies compiled by IDMB, Rotten Tomatoes and other websites, then I find it strange that there's no Shawshank Redemption, The Searchers or Gone With The Wind either. Others can I'm sure add to this list of what, to them, would be Bucket List movies which were not shown. Apocalypse Now? What about Rosemary's Baby as a movie in the Shining type of genre?

This list was more of a general Bucket List to meet entertainment standards across a wide viewer base and as such was a great success and for which I once again thank Mnet. But if the panel sat down to give us a viewing of the greatest movies ever made then they fell far short. Simply look at any top 100 movies list and you'll notice the omissions.

But perhaps I'm being too critical and maybe if I posted MY top 100 I too would be hammered because I'd not included movies that others rated highly.

So I suppose that's my choice then, for now anyway...
But not sure how many of the younger generations would be into it now, it requires quite a lengthy attention span and patience
