Default New Series Search Function (Explorer 1)

I regularly do a "New Series" search to see what new series are coming in the next week so that I can record any that interest me.

I have recently noticed that there are series that do not appear in this listing and so I am not picking them up in time.

Some examples are The Fixer, Apple Tree Yard, The Five, Life In Pieces S2,
The last Kingdom S2,

As you can see it is not limited to one channel and all the channels involved are included in my search.

What is causing this?

I'll run a check on the Explora 2 and see if these appear. Remember the series will ONLY appear under new series if there is an episode 1 in Catch Up or TV Guide. So a few of these would already not meet that requirement. Let me check and I'll feedback a little later.

The Explora that I'm checking on is NOT connected to the internet. It's the newest model.
Of the ones you've listed, I have :
The Fixer (under Catch Up)

Apple Tree Yard (not found - correct. No longer on schedule)
The Five (ditto. Ep1 no longer on schedule/or in Catch Up)
Life in Pieces (ditto)
The Last Kingdom (ditto)

If you notice this again, please post at the time - it'll make it easier to track and escalate.
Thanks

Please report when you see it and include the name of the missing series so that we can go and check whether it's a data issue or a bug on the software.

The latest programme where this has happened is The Voice.

Of the programs you have checked, these do go back but they were not found at the time they started.
My decoder is not connected to the internet.

Much appreciated. Have logged The Voice for investigation.

Looks like The Voice is classified as a "show" and not a "series" which is why the series search isn't picking it up.
I have given feedback to the Explora team on this - as I'm not sure the distinction between a show and a series (as we classify it) is necessarily the same view that a customer would have.
I do find this show when using the theme search and select SHOW as my theme, but know that this is not a solution for your needs - as there is no way to filter out shows that have an EP1 listed in the synopsis.
