Default Explora RCU response poor again

Is anyone else noticing a much worsened response-to-remote delay on the Explora 1 in the last couple of days?

And it's making the need to rewind etc. (trick mode) and create MR's and other typing the worst it's been again

Yes I find that when browsing titles the position jumps ahead so you end up selecting the wrong entry...then it's back..back...back...left..left...no right...and select again. Very painful

Yes, I can confirm this, but not constant.
When at the Explora (v 1) things aren't as bad.

Yes, Explora 1.

For a few weeks I have noticed that during playback pressing FF 3 times (I think, I'm not in front of decoder) to get to the maximum forward speed, when it gets to 2nd fastest speed, and pressing again forward, it often jumps back to normal speed. It was definitely working correctly a while ago.

I also find random delays in the remote response of up to 2 seconds causing wrong selections, and even deleting the wrong programs!

I have had some feedback from the team.

Please note that there has been known performance issues which the development team is working on.

We will keep you updated on the software release dates.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Regards,

MC Mpho

@MCSandipa

To add, but unsure if related. Sometimes pausing also seems to have a slight lag. At times the PVR pauses, unpauses for a moment, and then pauses again (properly).

Fast forwarding at the beginning of some CU or CU+ items, and then trying to return to "normal" play will fully pause playback.

Small "niggles" I've listed here, but maybe some trouble shooting help.
