Hi

Has anybody got an answer about the "device registered to a different user" error? I removed all devices and have no devices registerd but still get the error when I want to add a Android MyGica atv 582 tv box. I want to use it during Load Shedding.

Thanks

Hi viking73,

Welcome to the forum

I can tell you now that the MyGica is not in our list of supported devices so that's the likely reason you're receiving this error message.

Here's a sticky with more detail on this specific error - http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php?t=26111

Cheers

MC Nic.

Thank You Mc Nic

Where can I find a list of supported devices? It only says you need a Android 4.1- 4.4 device on the DSTV website and in App help.

I put up a sticky here: http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php...531#post227531

I'll speak to the product manager to have the info updated with officially supported devices.

Hi Nic, I know it says "coming soon Android 5" in the app description itself, but there is no indication in your "sticky" that Android 5 (Lollipop) is not yet supported; which it still Is not

Perhaps you'd consider making a note to the above fact in the sticky; unless of course Android 5 is coming today

Cheers, K.

Thanks, I've updated it.

Also, I know...I'm sorry. It's being treated as urgent.

You are right to be seriously embarrassed. Lollipop had been out for 3 months and Google released developer previews months before that. The service from your DRM provider is shocking.

Trying to use this on a Lenovo A3000, get "device registration error". No wonder piracy is flourishing.
