Default CU (not Plus) on Explora

I used to think the content on everyone's Catch Up was the same. I have a Explora and a 2A and content that's Ready to Watch is different??

Is it me just having a blonde moment?

Things can get delayed between the different VOD streams used for the two Explora models, nothing else.
AFAIK this can only happen due to a tech fault or some signal interruption, as the files are compressed differently and so not processed or delivered exactly the same.

That was truly a blonde moment, whilst we are there, what does AFAIK mean?

We've all got a few blonde hairs

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

Maybe bookmark this old thread, unlike lists since it it's got much of the slang we use: Glossary...

Remember this thread about compression technology?

Yep, but the detail of that was never confirmed and something is still different as we still have the two different streams.
You can check the tuner 3 transponder details on both to see if they ever become the same, but I doubt it.

Here's what I originally noted about it elsewhere;

Best guess since then - I do believe they somehow improved Explora 1, but I don't think it is capable of handling DVB-S2X and think their own compression technology varies as well.
