Default MultiChoice Loyal Customer Rewards?

I got a call today from someone telling me that because I had been a loyal Multichoice customer, I qualified for a free explora plus installation at last year's price (R700-odd) for 24 months. Was this a genuine call / offer?

Sounds like a scam, but wait for the Mods to answer.

The problem is that they don't always read this section which is for our use, so better to ask this in the Customer Services section. But they will likely see it later, perhaps only next week.

Yes it is. We’re offering this to a select group of customers, many of whom are still on single view decoders.

I can vouch for this as the same thing happened to me. (Funnily enough, on the day after my birthday) Brand new Explora 2A couriered to my front door, and installed with new dish etc within a week. Thank you Multichoice.
