Default #4667886 dstv channel 180 and catch up not working

Hi

I am posting my request here, as it has been over 20 days since I logged a problem via Email to Multichoice, every couple of days I get a reply saing "Sorry for the delay... Please try this...". So I do try what they want, and it does not work, so I reply to their email, wait a few days and get another "Sorry for the delay... Please try this..."

And Still I Cannot Play DSTV Catchup, and cannot view Channel 180 Discovery HD.

My Smartcard Number is 4252 6347 226

Here is a copy of my latest email to them :

Ok, here is how it stands at the moment.
All channels are displaying and recording fine.
Except discovery hd, channel 180.
It does not appear in the list of my channels.
If I switch to All Channels, then it shows uo in the list.
If I press ok to show that channel, it gives E16-4, The Smartcard is not enabled for this channel. It may be that your account is suspended.
I then check the information central whilst channel 180 is selected but not showing.
It gives signal strength 98%, signal quality 100%.
Both figures are stable.
Decoder Pace TDS865IMC 316197
Software up-to-date 3.22.8 D135523R L40 NP77.2
Viewing Ch180 DisHD 18
Pg: no block None unlocked
Smartcard:E16-4 0x5A4146(ZAF)
Disk 5% used 11 recordings

Signal status
Tuner 1
Strength 98
Quality 100
Freq 11050 symb 30000 ver 2/3 signal lock yes

Tuner 2
STRENGTH 98
QUALITY 100
FREQ 11010 symb 30000 ver 5/6 signal lock yes

Then if I go to the Dstv on demand entertainment list,
I choose to play any title, eg
M-net Carte Blanche ep 49 45min pg exp 16/03,
It says "This service is available to DStvPremium Subscribers only."

So, to recap,
All channels work, except channel 180
Recordings and playback work
Dstv catchup does not play.

The deocder is hooked up to my hd television using an hdmi cable..

I had this problem with a group of channels all on the same transponder. It went on for months and months in all that time mc claimed it was an installation problem.
Then a completely unrelated issue cropped upwhich could only be fixed by completely re activating my subscription and thatfixed up the loss of access to the group of channels
Nothing changed on my install nothing showed a hardware problem either.
The issue has not surfaced again since. The only advice I have is to try and get mc to re activate your subscription . Send MC NATASHA A PM. She will get someone to phone you and work throught the issue with you.

Where you based, if in Gauteng, a trip to Randburg with decoder may be your best bet

Donno, they just sent annemail telling me to hold reset in for 5 seconds again, and then aftervrescan it was fine.

They must have done something on their side.
