Exclamation

First episode ended with much time to spare, but the second started about half a minute too early
For this season ok for us though as each episode starts with the long same intro.

Second recording failed to start. When then trying to impulse record it I got a message stating that it's already scheduled for 6 / 5 @ 22:18, and would I like to reschedule it for 6 / 5 @ 22:18
Back to MR's for me with anything like this!

One last effort from me: The error in the Explora 1 Failed Recordings log is "Unable to record".

Good Morning All, I have been keeping an eye on your posts and wanted to make sure that when I do reply I have the information correct. Season 1 episode 1 back then was aired as a double episode and M-Net has split it into 2(Citanul is correct). As per M-Net's agreement with the distributer season 2 starts with episode 13, it may seem a bit off but it is correct. Please note that you are not missing any episodes and that all is correct. I have already spoken to the relevant departments and we have noted your feedback.

Thanks for the clarity and reassurances to date Portia, and for making the info available on your weekend. You're a credit to your channel group.

I'm just here to add that another Forumite with an Explora has since reported she had a number of episodes fail to record:

Not sure if this belongs in a PVR thread or not.

We put Twin Peaks series 1 and 2 on series record, and series 1 episodes 6 and 9 failed last night, both with the error "Cancelled due to conflict". Nothing else was scheduled on our explora last night. So we are 2 episodes short.

So since apparently there will be no repeats, that's stuffed the whole thing for us, both old series and new.

When the James Bond channel was running, it took me all 3 'cycles' of the movies to record the ones I wanted, due to EPG problems, changes and Explora errors like the "This is a PVR" interruptions. And I wasn't even recording all the Bond movies, just a selection.

So given that these EPG and other errors are such a regular occurrence that one can (unfortunately) expect them when trying to record anything like this, it would be really appreciated if this Binge channel could have a backup day during the week where we could fill in any missed recordings. Not ideal obviously, as in an ideal world we wouldn't have EPG problems or decoder errors, but something that would help mitigate the situation as it currently stands.

I really like the pop-up channels and this new Binge idea, let's hope the problems which undermine them eventually receive the care and attention necessary to sort them out.

In addition, last night, episodes "15", "18" and "20" were also "Cancelled due to Conflict". I should add that there was no conflict shown when we scheduled them, and again we had nothing else scheduled.

Since the channel is advertised as a record-now and binge-watch later, the launch has to be seen as a big fail due to the current issues with the Explora software and there not being any repeats. Unfortunately the Twin Peaks Mania is more of a Twin Peaks let-down for many.

A very urgent fix is required for this issue - I don't think it can wait until June.

Folks I strongly suggest for now you set a Manual Recording for all the episodes, instead of a series recording.

I am also raising this with our Broadcast Technology team and a number of senior leaders. Pls accept our apologies for the frustration - we'll ensure we have a workable solution before this coming weekend.
