Yes it did but I suspect it would have failed if I had something ending at 17H00 set to record before this show.

I'm not sure if this is related, but have a look at this search for "Middle" and the results from channel 101. Two results from the 23rd.

Similar things happened when I looked at The Middle on the online TV guide earlier today - but I have subsequently picked up it happens on many other programs as well.

If you look at the attached image, once I click on The Middle on the TV Guide it shows 2 x Other airings on M-Net on Wed 24 May (different size M-Net logos) at 10H00. If I click on the 1st of these airings it shows Channel 101 with the Record on Explora option, but if I click on the 2nd airing t shows channel 101, Record on Explora, Now Streaming and HD.

Also, the Thursday 10H30 Other Airing does not show but the Thursday 11H30 on M-Net+1 does show. No other airings on M-Net+1 shows. It is all very random.

Yip.

On the 23rd at 17:00 and 18:00 on 101
On the 23rd at 18:00 on 890

Very peculiar.

Folks, channel 890 is a test channel that we're using to pinpoint recording issues on software and EPG issues. To do the recordings, we have to log the shows properly so your search functions will pick it up. Pls just ignore.

Hi Marietjie, I think there's some further confusion here - the test channel you're referring to is ch. 470, there is no ch. 890.

According to earlier threads 890 has turned up before in the listings a few weeks ago (so before 470 was added). Seems to either be some sort of glitch, or perhaps a reference to one of the channel numbers used for the additional DStv Now online-only channels?

Something is certainly wrong though as 890 is in the range MC has reserved for audio / radio channels.

In the issue I showed, 890 wasn't the problem. If you look at the little picture, the arrow didn't point to that. It was the problem of the same show on the same channel at two different times. An hour apart. One was incorrect.

You can search many shows. It will point to two showings often at the same time, sometimes an hour apart. They can be differentiated by one not being "available to watch on DSTV Now"
