Default Another night, another failed recording

So last night again a failed recording

Much the same as before, back to back recordings with a late EPG changes means a conflict resulting in a failed recording.

The difference here, the shows concerned ARE NOT on CU. And the repeat of the unrecorded show clashes with something else

Very frustrating how a 1 minute change can upset the applecart!

The decoder team is working on a fix to the software to correct the bug, hopefully this will be pushed out soon. Thanks to all of you for reporting this issue and your detailed feedback.
Given this reply in one of my other failed recording posts, the plan is to fix the software to cope with the late EPG changes not stop the EPG changes themselves.

I also had failed recordings because of the same changes.

EPG changes will always be there and are unavoidable - things do happen and do do change - out of the control of MC.

However, we have raised the issue of these 1 minute changes/scheduling ENDLESSLY and despite being told numerous times this will be looked into and stopped there has been no change whatsoever - it still happens ALL THE TIME and all we get are apologies - no action. Sorry - this is not good enough and has not been for a very long time.

Somewhere someone at MC has NO IDEA as to what the impact of this is on recordings - or just doesn't care.
