"As slow as a herd of snails moving through peanut butter" is the correct way to show your displeasure with MC services

Back to another night of impossible-to-live-stream CatchUp+. I had no issues all afternoon and early evening - easily buffering 2 to 3 minutes in HD in less than 30 seconds. Then came 19h00 and it all changed.. currently it is taking 3 to 4 seconds to buffer just 1 second so live streaming is not an option.

In all honesty, nothing has changed at all in well over a year since this thread was started. We get asked about our ISPs, send through information, and asked whether we are still experiencing the problems and that is as far as it goes. ShowMax live streams like a dream via my Explora right now - the issue is nowhere other than with the MC servers.

To this day, I am still struggling with terribly slow download speeds on the explora.

When I do a speed test on the explora, I am getting speeds of 2.9mbps. I am running a 100mbps line, and the showmax app on my ps4 and computer works fine; no issues. I am starting to think that the issue is with the explora decoder.

I cannot stream anything on the explora, via showmax or CU+.

Very frustrating.

Any chance of connecting the Explora directly to your router (if only for test purposes) Assuming you're
connecting via Wifi to the router
