Default Sport Starting Times

As a subscriber I get extremely annoyed with the way you pass incorrect starting times for various sport matches on to the media. The latest is in the Sunday Times dated 15 April the Manu vs Aston Villa game is advertised to start at 4pm (provided by you!) The game started at 5pm. Whats the explanation, is it maybe your advertisers asking for people to sit in front of their tv sets to watch all the commercials first!!!!!

Sometimes starting times do change, which is why we always encourage you to use your on-screen EPG guide and not 3rd party listings.

I am moving this to the Sport section in case the moderators from SuperSport have anything to add.

The most accurate time is in the TV Guide in the SPORT section. The time reflected on SS Attraction includes SOCCER CHAT. If a match starts at 17h00, the SS Attraction shows 16H00 as a kick-off for SS3 but for other SS Channels there's a gap of 15 to 30 minutes of kick-off.

Please forgive me but most English Premiership games starting times are known well before match day. How a national newspaper cannot get the correct starting time from you is puzzling! The English league does not switch its starting times around unless there has been an emergency!

If you want accurate times press TV Guide on your remote. Go to DStv bouquet (simply DStv) then choose SPORT that's where you'll get accurate times.
