Hi, if i remember correctly the movies Shoot Em Up and Wrong Turn was on MM1 some time ago and as far as i know movies from MM1 is shown on MM2 in future again. This past Sunday these 2 movies were on Action, now i would just like to know if they are going te be shown on MM2 in future again and if so, why do we have to see them on 3 channels? I dont mind repeats on the same channel but repeats of the same thing on different channels is not on. Employee of the Month is another example, was on MM1 not to long ago and was now shown on Stars.

I see on all the movie channels they have the same 10 movies on every channel repeating daily.
I go every morning through the EPG on all channels to check if there's something to record, but the movie channels only have like 2 new movies a week.

And lots and lots of 90s movies on MM1 & MM2!!!

Hey fanie,
Repeats across many different channels may not make sense to you if you have access to all those channels - but spreading the repeats around a bit does give other subscribers on different bouquets a chance to see movies they might not otherwise. M-Net Action, for example, is available on Premium, Compact, Select 1 and Select 2.

@ MC Kerry, your point is soly noted.

but what dont make sense and of which i agree with other user what they have pointed out is that, for and HD PVR Premium + Access fee which is equivalent to R560.00, and an individual who is other Bouquet like Select or premium pays not even half of what we are paying... and at the end of the day, as you stated that ""some people also on other bouquet shpuld get a chance to watch the movie, than where does that places us who subscribe to the top of the range bouquet in MC, but all we get is repeat....

and to make you fill me, even more would be this sample....
this weekend the English premier league seasons starts.. and with to many game having to kick off at the same time, you may find that we who are on premium will have the advantage to toggle and watch our favorites teams, perhaps for me Man UTD, cause it might either be brodacasted on SS6, SS7, SS5. and iritating is that the same game would be brodcasted on SS3 as a repeats, now to me it makes no sense as a premium user, cause i have watched the game LIVE from Old Trafford on SS5. and where is my honor as a Premium subscriber, if what i pay for, would also be seen by someone who pays nothing as to what im giving.

is that fair?

Yes, the content is becoming extremely diluted. I remember back in the days when there was only M-Net (before DStv) they used to state the number of premieres broadcast each month in the M-Net guide. I think it was usually around 30 per month. I note this is no longer stated anywhere. I wonder why? Is it because the figure has stayed much the same even though they have added MM1, MM2, Hallmark, TCM, Stars, Action with the advent of DStv? Are we basically getting exactly the same amount of new content just that it is now broadcast over 7 channels for twice the price?

MC Kerry, thanks for the reply, i understand what you say BUT as MAPLAYER said, we the Premium guys pays so much more, why dont we get to see more? Im not sure how we get charged, is it per channel? If that is the case than MM1, MM2, Stars and Action should all count as only 1 channel.

What MC Kerry appears to be saying is that we may as well all downgrade to a cheaper bouquet ... we will still get the same movie availability, just perhaps not aired as often. I would be happy to plan my movie viewing more carefully if I could save money by downgrading.

Queries regarding repeats have been addressed on previous occasions.
Subscribers to the Compact and Select bouquets do not view the same content as Premium subscribers - instead, some of the content is broadcast at a later stage. Also, they will not view all the content that a Premium subscriber will. For example, popular channels such as M-Net, E! Entertainment, BBC Knowledge and BBC Entertainment are available only on Premium - as are at least 8 documentary channels (as opposed to, say, 2 on Compact). With regard to movie availability, TCM, M-Net Stars, MM1 and MM2 are also available only on Premium.

I dont think that MC has had a way to channel this our properly...

tou outline my situation more would be, like this. you know that every medical aid company has its own range of product that thye give you. depends on what you want, cause not everybody has access to Premiums scheme, Some would like to have a Compact Scheme. but within the range of products that they offer. A person who has the top of the range boquet products, receives only the best. same things in car industry, TV Industry, communication industry etc... whenever you go for the top of the range, you are always satisfied, and you feel best as an individual, cause you know there is no one like you, and also you feel proud about bthe product, then you even market it for that particular industry, saying you know. Go for my bouquet cause only offers what you want, not need. cause you enjoy the benefit of your money.

but said to say, that with MC premium bouquet not much advertsing i can do, cause i wouldnt ask my friends to join me, while myself i aint happy about the repeats?

sometimes you guys must do a survey? as to

Are our Clienst happy about what we are recieving, or MC is just sucking blood out of them (living out of individual)
