I am furious with DSTV.

Saturday I have programmed my PVR to record the movie Stander on Action X which according to the TV Guide should have started at 20h00.

Sunday morning, playing the recording I found that the movie which showed before Stander, have ran late (45 minutes) and so I have missed the ending of the movie, Stander.

Please could DSTV try not to run late with shows and movies.

I am asking if DSTV can please rebroadcast the movie Stander, please.

I complain about this all the time. You set the thing to record one programme and it gets something totally different or the beginning or end are cut off. The secret is to set it to record a half hour before and after the advertised time (I don't think you can do that with a PVR).
It's very annoying.

@ Blackhuff - STANDER repeats on Tuesday 7th @ 02:00 and Wednesday 15th @ 08:00 (both on M-Net Action). You can set a time based recording and add on time at the beggging and end, just in case.

Thank you MCA for the info.

I wouldn't bother. Stander is such a boring movie. I remember watching it on Mnet years ago. I think they concentrated too much on making the movie as factually correct as possible as apposed to making it an entertaining experience. The movie lacks much.

I enjoyed it too.

On the PVR just record what ahead and whats after if you are worried about cut offs. its what i do with the F1 as it has happened when red flags come out and the show goes on over the due end time.
