I have no idea what the costs are or what is involved in obtaining of a new movie channel for DSTV but a number of members have over the years been complaining about the never ending repeats of movies on the TCM and other channels. When I first got DSTV I was very excited as I thought I would be able to see lots of the older classics. Alas this was not to be. Odd one every now and again, and again and again etc. But that is it. Most disappointing to say the least.
While surfing the interner I came across a channel called AMCTV whose tv schedule advertisers a nice mix of old and fairly old movies but interspersed with what I would call true classic movies from the past. If anyone reading this message is interested to know what these movies are I would suggest they go to AMCTV.COM and look at their tv schedule.
PLEASE MULTICHOICE TAKE LOOK AT THIS CHANNEL OR ANYOTHER SIMILAR ONE.
Regarding the various complaints about the repeats and the quality of movies shown on TCM do you not have a knowledgeable movie expert who can advise you on the various old movie channels that are available to you and whether our complaints are justified?
